BROOKVILLE: A familiar face to many local customers is stepping onto the statewide stage.

Emma Wilson, known to many in the community for her work behind the meat counter at Meatheads Market, has been named the 2026 Pennsylvania 4-H State Council Secretary — a leadership role that reflects years of dedication, growth, and commitment to the 4-H program.

For those who see her weekly at work, Emma’s calm professionalism and strong work ethic are nothing new. But beyond the counter, she has been steadily building an impressive résumé within 4-H, working toward leadership opportunities that extend far beyond the local level.

A Journey Built On Dedication

Pennsylvania 4-H State Council members represent youth from across the Commonwealth, serving as ambassadors, advocates, and leaders within the organization. As State Council Secretary, Emma will help guide statewide initiatives, assist with planning events and conferences, and serve as a voice for 4-H members throughout Pennsylvania.

Her appointment highlights not only personal achievement but also the values at the heart of 4-H: leadership, service, responsibility, and community engagement.

Those at Meatheads Market say they have watched Emma balance work responsibilities with her 4-H commitments, demonstrating maturity and focus well beyond her years.

“We are incredibly proud of her dedication both in the workplace and in her 4-H journey,” the team at Meatheads Market shared. “We can’t wait to see all she accomplishes next.”

Representing The Next Generation Of Leaders

The Pennsylvania 4-H program has long served as a launchpad for young leaders, offering opportunities in agriculture, public speaking, civic engagement, and project-based learning. State Council members are selected for their character, initiative, and demonstrated commitment to service.

Emma’s achievement places her among a select group of youth leaders tasked with representing thousands of 4-H members across the Commonwealth in 2026.

As she steps into this new role, she carries with her the support of her local community — customers, coworkers, mentors, and fellow 4-H members who have watched her grow into the leader she is today.

Congratulations to Emma Wilson, the 2026 Pennsylvania 4-H State Council Secretary.
