RIDGWAY: The Ridgway Public Library is inviting the community to an evening of music, food, and fun as it hosts a major fundraiser featuring 80s favorite Velveeta on Saturday, April 25, 2026.
The event will take place at the Moose Lodge, located at 237 N. Broad St., Ridgway, and promises a lively night filled with classic hits, raffle baskets, and a 50/50 drawing — all in support of the library’s programs and services.
Organizers say this year’s fundraiser brings a fresh twist. While many residents have supported the library’s traditional “Steak Fry” in past years, the 2026 event will feature a Stuffed Chicken Dinner to kick off the evening.
Dinner will be served at 5:PM, followed by live music from 7:PM to 10:PM. Gluten-free options are available and can be requested at the time of ticket purchase. Attendees must be 21 or older to remain for the band performance.
Ticket pricing is set at $25 for the dinner and band combination, or $10 for band-only admission. Tickets are currently available at the Ridgway Public Library and at the Moose Lodge.
Library officials emphasized that all proceeds — including dinner sales, raffle baskets, and the 50/50 drawing — will directly benefit library operations, programming, and community services.
“We’re thrilled to bring everyone together for a great cause,” organizers shared. “It’s going to be a night of community spirit and great music.”
The library also expressed gratitude to its event sponsors, including Fairview Asphalt Paving Co., Rebco Inc., Long Level Trucking, Dynamo Freight, PCS Systems Inc., and SinterFire. Businesses interested in sponsoring the event can contact Library Director Jessica at

With classic 80s rock, a hearty meal, and the chance to support a vital community resource, organizers say they look forward to seeing residents fill the Moose Lodge for what promises to be an energetic and meaningful evening.
