PUNXSUTAWNEY: Fresh donations from Giant Eagle have arrived and are now available for pickup at The Salvation Army Punxsutawney.
Community members are invited to stop by and take advantage of the food items while supplies last. Organizers say there is currently a large quantity of bananas available, along with other donated goods.
Distribution is being handled on a first-come, first-served basis. To ensure as many families as possible can benefit, visitors are asked to limit the number of items taken per household. Those picking up donations are also reminded to sign in and record how many items they receive. Officials say the simple tracking process helps with reporting requirements and keeps operations running smoothly.
